The word Chupacabra means "goat sucker" in Spanish, and it is said to have originated in Latin America, specifically Puerto Rico and Mexico. Phylis Canion of Cuero Texas may have caught a Chupacabra at her ranch in Cuero Texas. "It is one ugly creature," Canion said. Canion plans to do DNA testing of the creature. The animal resembles a dog, at about 40 pounds with dark grey bluish skin, and a black dog like nose, and dog like canines. . In fact, veterinarian Travis Schaar says "I just think.. a chupacabra is a (strange breed of) dog."
